Test Automation Developer

TEKTELIC Communications is a leading Canadian IoT and wireless solutions company, trusted in 75+ countries. We’re looking for a Test Automation Developer to help build and maintainthe testing infrastructure that ensures our global products work flawlessly – every time. 

What You’ll Do 

• Develop & maintain automated test systems (Python, C++, MATLAB). 

• Collaborate with product teams to analyze technical requirements and develop comprehensive test plans that ensure clear traceability from requirements to results. 

• Collaborate on functional, regression, failover, soak and performance testing. 

• Work with RF equipment (e.g., spectrum/network analyzers). 

• Upgrade and support test systems for production environments. 

• Identify opportunities for cost reduction, test optimization, and continuous improvement. 

What You Bring 

• A diploma or degree in Electronics, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or similar. 

• 3+ years of test automation or QA engineering experience. 

• Proficiency in Python, C++, MATLAB and databases. 

• Experienced with RF (Radio Frequency) equipment (Spectrum Analyzers, Signal Generators, Network Analyzers) 

• Solid knowledge of networking (LAN/WAN). 

• Strong communication skills & detail-oriented mindset. 

Nice-to-Haves 

• Familiarity with automated test frameworks (e.g. Python, LabView, Robot Framework) is an asset. 

• Background in embedded systems or wireless communication protocols.
