Unidata and TEKTELIC collaborating for IoT Solutions in the Italian market

Rome, April 2021 – Innovative solutions in the Internet of Things sector based on LoRaWAN® technology. These are the objectives of the Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) signed by Unidata and TEKTELIC and aimed specifically at the Italian market.

The agreement confirms the strong desire for strategic collaboration between the two companies, for the development of new solutions in the field of the Internet of Things. The first areas of applications that are going to be jointly implemented are related to both Smart Agriculture and Smart Healthcare, as well as the aim to implement Unidata’s LoRaWAN® network, accelerating the coverage in Italy.

The Italian telecommunications company with over 30 years of experience, intends to collaborate with TEKTELIC, a Canadian multinational company specializing in the production of quality gateways and sensors based on LoRaWAN® technology, to implement and complete projects that meet the need to provide innovative solutions for the optimization of resources in agriculture and for remote home assistance, enabling new business models.
