The KONA Enterprise LoRaWAN® Gateway is designed for mid-size and small enterprises, universities, agricultural, forestry and remote operations. In order to facilitate rapid deployment, one needs only to provide POE power. The Gateway is very compact and lightweight, comes with an integrated Cat-6 3G/4G modem and Ethernet backhaul.
The LoRaWAN, 3G/4G and GPS antennas are integrated within the enclosure. For remote applications and extra flexibility it also supports optional external LoRaWAN and 3G/4G Antennas. The ESD and Lightning protection are integrated across all its interfaces. The KONA Enterprise LoRaWAN Gateway meets IP-67 environmental specifications for the most demanding outdoor installations. With MTBF of 450,000 hours or 50 years is it virtually “always on” and the operator's lowest TCO.

How do I update the software (BSP) on my gateway?
The software on your gateway can be easily updated using the Operations, Administration and Maintenance (OAM) features of the Kona Network Server or OAM Server.
Can I use my Enterprise gateway indoors.
Yes, the Kona Enterprise gateway can be used indoors – some key features, such as an IP67 environmental rating and GPS receiver capabilities might not be be leveraged in an indoor deployment.
Can I use my own sensors with your Gateway?
Absolutely, there are thousands of instances where our customers use their own end devices and just connect them to KONA Gateways, leading to complete control and customization of your LoRaWAN® solution.
What Cellular networks can I use for backhaul with your Gateways?
All of our gateways use either common Sierra Wireless Modem, Quectel modem, which are compatible with the majority of global cellular networks.
Do you support Wi-Fi as a backhaul for option for your LoRaWAN Gateways?
KONA Gateways are compatible with multiple backhaul options, including Wi-Fi, Ethernet and Cellular.
