The Challenge

This was especially true for water metering companies, which need 64-channel networks to operate effectively.

Everynet recognized this gap and teamed up with TEKTELIC to use the 64-channel Kona Mega Gateways. TEKTELIC was able to provide hundreds of these gateways quickly, which was crucial for the initial success of the deployment. Their common firmware also made it easy to integrate and expand the network with TEKTELIC’s 8 & 16-channel Gateways, ensuring smooth operation and growth.

A major challenge was ensuring that the network provided the best radio performance and reliability while managing costs. TEKTELIC’s gateways are designed to minimize annual operating expenses, making it more cost-effective to build and maintain a high-performance network.
