How I could use TEKTELIC MEMO tablet?
The Memo tablet features a customizable GUI to fit the digital signage needs of your organization. An example use case is using it as a digital signage to display static/dynamic textual and graphical information such as workplace safety in remote areas. Another example is using the tablet to display school laboratory environmental telemetry (Temperature, Humidity, Co2 level etc.). The tablet can be configured to be interactive or non-interactive, depending on the intended use case.
What is the display technology on the tablet?
E-ink display technology used on the Memo is a reflective, bistable, and paper-like display with a 758 x 1024 resolution and 16 gray levels. The display does not need backlight to hold screen images, rather it uses the ambient light of the environment to reflect the surface of the display making it seem like it’s always ON. When the tablet is not active, the tablet saves more power compared to other display technologies (such as LCD), and Information is always on display.
WHAT IS THE BATTERY LIFE?
The Memo display tablet uses 4 AA batteries and has a battery life that depends on its use case. For non-interactive applications with minimal screen change and LoRa transmissions daily, the battery life is estimated to be at least a year. However, for applications that require user interaction and therefore more screen change and LoRa transmissions, the battery life is between 8 months and one year.
Where should I place MEMO?
The Memo tablet can be mounted safely on any type of indoor wall, provided the installation instructions in the user guide document are followed. It was designed for indoor use only with an operating temperature range of 0°C to +60°C. It is therefore not suitable for indoor applications with extreme temperature conditions such as cold rooms or Saunas.
